Theological Advisor and Educator
Dr Jacqueline Lloyd
Jacqui is passionate about equipping NZCPT schools and teachers to effectively implement the NZCPT's Special Character documents and develop their local curriculum in a way that aligns with their school’s Special Character. She provides professional learning and development for teachers, working to build their capacity and confidence in delivering rich learning experiences for students.
Jacqui has 28 years of experience in Primary and Tertiary education, including teaching, leadership, course writing, and curriculum development. Jacqui has also provided theological consultancy for various organisations and is the author of documents guiding schools in the delivery of their Special Character.

Community of Practice Facilitator
Steve Farrand
Steve is passionate about connecting and strengthening Christian school leaders across the NZCPT network through purposeful collaboration and shared practice. As NZCPT’s Community of Practice Facilitator (2026), he equips principals and Special Character leaders with practical tools and guidance to deliver their Special Character priorities, while operationally leading and sustaining a vibrant Special Character Community of Practice across NZCPT schools.
With 31 years in education—19 in the state system and 12 in Christian education—Steve brings extensive experience in teaching and leadership, including 10 years as Principal of Maranatha Christian School and 6 years as Lead Principal of the Lower North Island Christian (LNIC) Kāhui Ako. A committed member of the Salvation Army in Wellington, Steve is motivated by a deep desire to see Christian schools flourish and to witness God at work through unified, faith-filled leadership.
